All my life I have loved a good conspiracy theory.  Like 911 was cause by Bush and his affiliates in the U.S. government to provide a war in which the Rothschild family could take over the banking in Iraq and Afghanistan.  As well as others like the way aliens had a major affect on the development of modern man.  These conspiracy's among others have nurtured my imagination throughout my life.

Years ago my friend and I found a website titled abovetopsecret.com, this website provided thousands of stories about government conspiracy's and tons of other time wasting content.  Throughout the years the website grew into a place where not only stories were written but people wrote their personal influential philosophies.  Which was fine because a lot of these philosophy's appeared to be anti government and very entertaining.  

So my friend decides to start posting some of his personal beliefs.  I read a couple of his posts and they didn't seem like they were trying to accomplish anything major except opening people eyes to the current state of the government.   Within one day of him writing his second post his posts were deleted off of the website! The conspiracy website was censoring content!  The reason giving was he was trying to incite protest's, with public gatherings.  

I thought this censorship was very strange this huge mainstream website that allowed practically everything under the sun to be written on it was blocking the writings of a no name blogger.  

So i started looking into this website to find out who hosted it and maybe why they blocked deleted my friends writing's.  I found out a while ago that this amazing website links back to government servers.  So the government is the one who deleted my friends writings!  Now it makes sense the government created this website to control and monitor the conspiracy theory's that fuel the world of debate and imagination.   

Why!  I'm sure there are tons of reasons.  So, im not even gonna try to write about them.  All i know for sure is that abovetopsecret.com, is government run.

Do we make our own reality?

A while ago I was looking for something interesting to watch and I came across this video by Donald Hoffman in the Ted talks series on YouTube titled "Do we see reality as it is?".  I thought of course I do!

Donald Hoffman brings to light certain differences in the conscious evolution of mankind.  In his talk, he discusses when the reality is manufactured in the mind of the observer and when the observed reality is understood for what it truly represents.

How Donald tested this concept was by running different human evolution programming algorithms on computers with a team of scientists where one test was done by having humans perceive reality for what it really is.  In this reality, the humans eventually died out and went extinct.  In the next test, the humans were allowed to experience reality as they perceived it.  Which means humans changed their interpretation of reality to better suit their needs.  This test showed that humans who made their own reality had a better chance of surviving.

At first, I hated this idea.  Because I think people who can't see the world as it truly is are lowly.  But I came to realize that in order to tolerate a lot of what the world has to offer you have to perceive it differently than what it truly is to survive.  So imaginative people breed on and let your dreamland inherit the future.

Memory Therapy

For over a hundred years the field of psychology has asked the question how do we help people manage their fears and traumatic memories. Recently a drug has been undergoing testing that has had success in this area.  The drug is called Proponalolol.  Proponalolol,  is normally used to treat high blood pressure.  The drug fits into a class of pharmaceuticals titled beta blockers, which simply means it interferes with hormones in the brain.

This recent study spearheaded by the biological psychiatry journal produced success in suppressing the fears of people who were afraid of spiders.

The experiment exposed people to their fears (spiders) and then gave them the Proponalolol. This method allowed for the fear of the memory to be brought the front of the mind.  After the memory was recalled the Proponalolol was ingested which blocked the return of the unpleasant memory.  After only a few therapy sessions the people who were provided the Proponalolol were able to interact with and even handle the Tarantulas that they were using in therapy.

So far the long term success of the testing seems to be holding.

However, it looks to me like this drug has the potential to repair a lot of psychological issue's associated with negative memory recollection.
